Yoga for rls?

Does anyone do yoga to help their rls? If so could you recommend any poses that help and the best time to do them. Thought I may try it and see if it helps by stretching things out!!

Hi denise, if you type "yoga" in the search box at the top of the page, there are quite a few past threads mentioning yoga but I am not sure whether any poses are mentioned that may help RLS symptoms.

I think yoga helps and I do practise, but never in the evening as it seems to bring on the RLS. Also some long meditations when the different muscles are squeezed in turn, caused my rls to start....but on the whole I feel it helps me be calmer and fitter...

I agree with Funny fennel-I do yoga for general health and welbeing but don't do specific poses for RLS.. Lying on the floor with your legs up a wall (at right angles) is supposed to help but it doesn't for me. Good luck.

Thanks all, I was going to do it in evening! I will see if the legs up a wall helps and find any others that helps to stretch the legs out.
