Stan i remenber you saying your leg was swollen and doc thought it was due to the Pramipexole but you tried to get Neupro patch but no luck there. Then doc was going to look at your other meds but i dont recall seeing a list of what else you are taking.Hows your leg now? Sorry if you have already told us what else you take but i answer sometimes dozens of people a day on different groups so i do need a reminder now and then!Take care Stan x

The health care system in the UK constantly confuses me, i am from the US. What do you mean the "doctor was in no position to order a scan? Here, if a doctor wants a patient to have tests, we have the tests. It makes me crazy when I see how you have such long waiting lists to get to see anyone! Crazy. I know your health care system is overly filled up with patients, and there are not enough doctors or specialists to take care of all of you. But, I see 6 month waiting lists for a simple test or to see a specialist, etc. Even in an extremely serious situation, some people have to wait for months and months when they are seriously ill. We have our own issues over here, but not like you do in the UK. Good luck!

Hi Stan,I can't see anything on your meds list that would make your restless legs worse which was my concern. How did you go on at the doctors today? ...Pippins2 x

Hi Stan, well I am glad that you finally got your leg scan and doubly pleased that you do not have a blood clot! Hope the rest of your results are good. I am waiting for some tests goodness knows how long I will be waiting, the NHS moves very slowly! Take care x

Stan swelling of the foot and leg is definitely not a symptom of RLS. It could be a side effect of medications used to treat RLS but no the restless legs itself would not cause swelling. The baby is wonderful thankyou and seems to alter every time I see her.Where do you live Stan? Best wishes. ..Pipps

My son used to live in Aberdare, visited there a few times. :)

Stan I live in Sheffield in South Yorkshire. Born and bred here.I was wondering where you lived as RLS Specialists has been recommended based in Newcastle but obviously too far away for the both of us!

Hi stan, he used to live in cwmaman, we traveled through a place called Mountain Ash to get there, i always thought how lovely to live in a place called Mountain Ash, would be. The whole area where my son lived was beautiful and he had mountains behind his house. The only drawback, was the VERY steep roads. :)

I will take your word for it, you know more than me about it, if you looked round there. I only went through it and didnt stop. lol Mine was a romantic view of the name. :) No, never went to trecynon. Yes, son is now back to living in England. Thanks for our little chat, its been interesting. :)

I live in a little seaside town on the south coast.

Hi Stan no not had my tests yet but I have been told they Will be done within the next 2 weeks. However I have requested sedation for the tests and it seems the Consultant does not do sedation so I may still end up refusing the test!!!! Take care. ..Pippins2 x
