I also started with my first pregnancy (son now age 50!) I wonder if there is a connection. Mine too has got worse as time goes on. Will try the water instead of my last cuppa at about 9pm. Best wishes, Val
Many women find they develop RLS when pregnant and then after giving birth it goes away. For others they find it comes back at some time later, or it stays after birth. Altho i have Primary RLS, very mild when i was pregnant with both my children, i never had any RLS during that time. RLS is progressive so gets worse as we get older, mine is now severe.
That's interesting restless legs and arms started during my first pregnancy in 1969 staying on off over the years. 2014 December I had a total hip replacement which start an epic nightmare with restless legs still on going todate. The first 6 months I sent ever night pacing around my home doing exercises all night. Doctor put me on ropinrole restless started earlier, doctor doubled dosage then legs started day and night! Back on original dose with restless legs early evening ... But I do sleep. Expecting to have other hip replaced 2016 heaven knows what will happen this time!!!
