bryhen22,
You are not alone. I get the same feeling in my arms and hands that I get from my hips down and I always refer to my condition as ''Restless Body Syndrome''. If you control the the leg part the body is usually at rest also.
I have asked my neurologist over and over and he says, ''every one is different'' . Doctors usually don't like to admit they are stumped and have no clue when the symptom is not exactly what this year's PDR says.

Right. It's indeed probably RLS, I have the same sensations on occasion that on me seems to be in my upper back and down into my arms. It's the same icky waves just like you describe.
I started with it just in my legs last year, then bit by bit it began to affect other areas of my body, Hands then Arms, Lower back, Upper back, Neck & shoulders even an occasional stomach twitch. Full body RLS seems to be not so common, but happens
I hope it spreads no further for you.
Now i know i'm not alone - on this weird sensations on my arms! I wondered if RLS could happen in other part of our bodies.... I've had RLS since when i was in middle school.. My legs act up most at night, my arms also act at night but mainly after i feel cold on my arms at day time. I've been drinking V8 for couple of months but only a small glass a day, didnt realize it could help RLS. Start from tomorrow i'll double the drink & see if it helps...,
