POSTERS
HI Connie, well done you! Doing something to raise awareness of RLS. I had a bit of a problem in our GP surgery with them being willing to take a poster. The following year one of the receptionists helped me with this and persevered with her boss. I must admit I have not seen it lately though. The local health store were happy to take a poster after a chat with them and it is still there along with our Family Health Centre who gladly took a copy which is still there on the main notice board. I have not tried in a hospital yet as that is not so local but that is another good place. I was wondering if a Parkinsons Clinic may have a noticeboard and take one too. That is another place I have not investigated so far. The local chemist in the surgery complex were happy to assist with a poster but at the end of last year it was renovated and unfortunately they no longer put posters on the windows/walls and only stock NHS leaflets on a rack. They were apologetic though. They did ask if we had any leaflets but I said we did not. That may be an idea for RLS-UK actually! It would be easier to leave some of them around hospitals and tables. A local nursery took a poster too.
It is RLS Awareness Day on 23 September. Thank you for your enthusiasm Connie.

RLS-UK will be producing leaflets this year! It was mentioned at the AGM earlier this month - so watch this space as I'm sure the
Chair will let us know when they are ready.
