From reading other posts on here where people are in work or have been in employment, it doesnt go down very well with employers who have employees who fall asleep or are too sleepy to do the work. Makes sense really.... :) Can you work from home, something you are good at doing, that you can start a little business up. At least your time is your own, and you can nap when you need to. :)

Thank you very much. Dont know what i could frm home tho. :-S

Hi , I dont know your circumstances maybe you need to go back to work? If you have a choice I would try to go part time for me afternoons would be best as I sleep best in the mornings. However if you are falling to sleep with a moments notice then obviously many jobs would be too dangerous. Ehat sort of job do you do? Is the falling asleep due to lack of caused by rls or medication? If meds maybe they could be tweaked a bit.

Hi, thanks for responding so quickly. The sleep is caused by both the rls and the meds. I work as a QualityAuditor which sees me doing a lot of work on computer which is the worst thing for causing me to nod. I am seeing a neurologist in July, so hopfully i may find sm meds that wont do it. :-)

With severe RLS it can be very hard to hold a job. I had to quit work myself because of RLS.
