I find that I get restless legs if I drink alcohol - after about half an hour it starts - does anyone else find this?

Many find that alcohol makes their RLS worse. Its one of the things to avoid if you find it does. Sugary food, ice cream, chocolate, caffeine are also some that can make RLS worse. As can some OTC medications.

Oh, yes. I take my Pramipexole around 7pm, and I have found that I can drink alcohol (only a glass of wine) after about half an hour. If I drink alcohol before my pill then my legs start up.

Yes! But not always. My RLS seems to be triggered more when I'm over tired. That doesn't mean lack of sleep, it means that I've done too many things in the day and I've stressed my body beyond what it is now comfortable doing. I'm not a big drinker, but when I'm in that body over tired state and I decide to have for example a glass of wine with dinner, half an hour later or ever after one sip I feel it starting.
