Lyrica tablets
Hi I find the opposite with lyrica I am finding it very helpful whilst weaning ogf mirapexin which I take for rls. What dode are you on? Yes amitriptyline is a no no for most rls sufferers.I suppose meds affect everyone in different ways so its possible lyrica not suiting your legs but for me it helps and is often used as a restless leg treatment. Good luckx
Lyrica did nothing for me at all. It was given to me for Fibro pain, but it was a no-no for my MOOD and it also did nothing for the pain or the RLS. It is going to be approved in the US soon for RLS, but non one is too excited about that. It does not have a good track record, does help some, but certainly not all, as goes the way of all RLS meds.
And amitriptyline literally almost made me jump out of a 3rd floor window at 3 am years and years ago, it made my RLS so bad, the worst it ever has been. that is when I found out what RLS is back in 1998.
I also tried the lyrica a while back and found that it had no affect on the pain in my legs. I take tramadol along with ropinirole now. This combination has worked wonders for me.
Yes! I was put on Lyrica a couple of months ago. Since then I've felt awful. A lot of stomach problems that left me sick all the time. I stopped taking Lyrica a few days ago and am already feeling much, much better.
Just shows how individual restless legs is what helps one person makes another worse.I suppose its just trial and error to see what suits you. One thing I dont like about Lyrica though is it has made my fluid retention problem worse.
