Can I take more Mirapex? I have been on the same dose for about 3 years.

I have really been suffering with severe RLS. I really need some sleep. I have taken 1 mg of Mirapex and 100 mg of Tramadol tonight and I am absolutely getting no relief. I am having RLS almost 24 hours a day now. I can hardly get this typed because my whole body is soooo stressed and I cannot be still. A hot shower helps while I am in the shower but the hot water runs out.

Are you sure you have taken 50mg Mirapex ???

Could you mean that you have taken .5mg ???

I believe the max limit used to be 1mg and I think that recent opinions suggest a max of .25mg.

I'm sorry I made a mistake and just corrected it. I have been on 1 mg of Mirapex. I was wondering if I could take more. I am really suffering with RLS. Thanks

I would be reluctant to increase the Mirapex when the current opinion is that .25mg should be the max limit. (I think). And it is just possible that you are suffering from augmentation. I find codeine 30/500 better than tramadol both of them being at the lower end of opiates.. You could research on augmentation and see if this sounds familiar. If you then think it could be augmentation then you really need to see your dr for support. .DAs such as Mirapex can cause augmentation, as can Tramadol although it is more rare with the tramadol.
