Ive made it to Day 4 without a smoke😊 Cravings are really strong in the afternoon/evening an i cant stop eating lol. I can do this! I wont give in this time😊

Are you using any nrt or going cold turkey? this will help us help you. You will find that among our members they have quit using a range of nrt to cold turkey
I wouldn't worry to much about the eating at the moment, but try and identify if it is the hand at mouth thing or just as a comfort.
try using healthier options, i used to prepare carrot sticks celery etc in one bowl and make up fruit salad in another
Drink lots of water as this helps flush our the toxins
WE have a little mantra we use around here ..NOPE = Not One Puff Ever.. Keeps us on track
Im doing cold turkey, but wen cravings get bad im puting nicotine patch on to get me thru. Great mantra😊

You may find reading Allan Carrs book "easy way to quit smoking" worth reading as it really does help you see smoking in an entire different light.
Keep this site nice and close, come on for a chat, a vent , to ask questions, what ever you need, it is great for a distractions from cigarettes too
We have members from a few different countries with differing time slots , so there is generally some one about..For me it is 9-30 Sunday evening downunder in Australia

Quitting smoking has got to be one of the best ever decisions we can make in our lives and you have made that decision sooo, lets help to keep you smokefree eh As you have found out, their a flippin great bunch on here and we try to help each other the best we can
Elaino, please dont worry too much about the eating cos if you can beat the smokes, you can beat anything that includes weight gain, but later eh try to eat healthy, maybe prepare some chopped raw carrot and some fruit and make a snack box that you can put in the fridge, sooooo, when you feel peckish, just get your snack box out and have a munch Just a thought gal Try sipping water, cos this can help with cravings too
