Dad told mum, christmas morning, that he was going to die that night.

He's still with us at the moment but he's really struggling.

Oh Hannah,

Your two most recent blogs have just demonstrated the ups and downs of this awful condition :-( I just looked at the photo of your Dad in his special Christmas apron and had a big smile on my face and then I read this post :-(

Don't know what to say except LOVE and HUGS to all

p.s. is your Dad on anti-depressants? If not, it might be worth discussing it with him and his GP

Oh Dear, how heartbreaking. What stage is he at Hannah? Dad has been really really bad over the last few days too, he said (after a lot of pardons???)that yesterday had been his nadir. We all feel it's come to a nasty head lately, with everything seemingly going at once. bowels, legs, speech, hands, the works. Have the last couple of days been any better?

Hi Hannah

I do hope that your Dad has been better since your blog. My husband had a good Christmas day but the next day he wanted to cut his throat, even with two lots of antidepressants, today he is happy and smiling so I know how you must feel. Some days are so difficult to deal with but I am sure he appreciates all that you do for him even though he might not express it and you will be such a support for your Mum.

Love and hugs

Lorraine
