Hello to everyone. My father takes Q10 in liquid form for about 2 and a half months. It's called Sanomit and i was able to find it in some german websites only. Our neurologist told us about it last summer. She explained that Q10 in pill form has no effect, it only goes to stomach and then dissolved, we want Q10 to cross the blood and the way to achieve that is to give Q10 in liquid form, which is Sanomit. This liquid was tested in a 6 week trial and the results were encouraging. She was reluctant about it's effectiveness, however she told us that we could try it if we wanted, as no side effects have been observed. We decided to give it a go and i can say that it helps.I am not talking about a huge difference so far, but for sure it's a significant one.My father still walks with assistance as he did before Sanomit. His walking is better now, he is more stable and he is able to make some steps on his own, he couldn't do this before. Also, he is much more light now, he is the same kilos, but it's easier to lift him up or help him walk.Last days, we have noticed that his voice has become a little bit more loud and clearer. The dosage is 2 drops per kilo (my father is 75 kilos, so we use 150 drops per day).It costs about 100 euro per bottle and we need 2 bottles for a month.I do believe it's worthwhile.

I think it is great that things are starting to come to light in the way of various treatments. Although we know that there is as yet no cure , it is good to know there are thiings than can make life more bearable for suffrers and possibly lengthen their mobility. Unfortunately as mum is in a nursing home they quite rightly have to do everythiing by the book so any thing extra, even vitamins and supplements have to be run past the GP first. It helps if there is research to back things up. But I am still waiting to hear if the GP will approve the use of flaxseed in mum's diet to help regulate her bowels rather than her having senna and fybogel which have been reported to play havoc with pwPSP bowels ( I don't know about CBD). So it will be good when GPs are on board with these trials and treatments and understand that we are after relieving symtoms in the short term. Hope your Dad continues to thrive and do let us know how things go. Dianne

Hi, John-z,

I write from Italy. My mum was diagnostic on 2010.

I'd like to know if your father takes his 150 drops of Sanomit all together or not and when?

I want to try with my mother and I hope to have some benefit.

Please if you can, give me a reply asap.

Best best wishes to all of you

Hi, Ania, that's very good news!I only found Sanomit in Germany, i didn't know it exists in other countries too!My dad takes 150 drops daily. We split the 150 drops in 3 doses, giving 50 drops in each dose.We give the 3 doses morning, noon and afternoon.First of all you have to weigh your dad, you need 2 drops for every single kilo, so if his weight is for example, 70 kilos, you need 140 drops every day.Best wishes to you and your family, John.

Thanks for your kind words, Ania! I buy the 100 ml bottle,we need about two of them for a month.I can't say that my dad is getting better and better, but certainly these drops have helped him since he started taking them.He walks better, he is more stable and his voice seems a little clearer and stronger. He doesn't take other drugs, so i do believe it's a significant difference, any improvement in this so difficult disease is very important.
