Hi Tim ! I was able to use the "Redirect" instructions to access the article about the study . Thanks a lot !! Am definitely hopeful and it's always encouraging to know that there are researchers out there who are working to find treatments/cures !!

Thanks for sharing. This definitely seems like positive progress. I like the idea that more sharing of information is happening amongst researchers. Great hope. Thanks!

Thanks for that, hope for someone in the future.

A reminder for anyone reading this, research like this cannot happen without the brains people donate, have you considered donating yours?

pspassociation.org.uk/resea... if you are in the UK

Good point about the brain donation. My husband has been asked to donate his brain (once he no longer needs it). My mother-in-law donated her brain - she died in 2019 after living with Parkinson's Disease for over 30 years. We were able to get some answers about her condition once they had analysed her brain. So my husband has decided to donate - but not signed any forms yet.

Thanks for sharing - we are mostly aware of the research that happens in the UK (we live near Cambridge and have signed up for any study that we can help with). All the reports are interesting even if it still seems to be so many unknowns. We participated in a drug trial - the Noraps study which is still ongoing. There probably won't be any results published until next year, however we think we saw some useful effects of noradrenalin (ADHD drug) for my husband.

Hope is important.

Tim,

That is the most positive step I have heard about. I think that all the work they are doing on the much more common Alzheimers disease will all help as well.

Hope you are doing as best as you can and still able to enjoy the occasional icecream.

Richard 🙂
