Please Help - London Marathon 24

Good evening all.

I know some of you will remember me, and other will be going “Who is this?”

Let me reintroduce myself.

My name is Derek, and my partner David was a sufferer of PSP from around 2010 until his death in 2017. I was a regular on here, and for a few years after his death,and still try to help from time to time on the facebook groups etc.

I have taken a life changing decision to run the London Marathon next year, and to do it as part of Team PSPA to raise money towards research and the PSPA’s aims.

Ill post a link to my just giving page which contains the full story, but if you are possibly able to, I would really appreciate a quid here and there towards my fund raising target.

Thank you so much if you can possibly help, it would mean the world to me as I continue to try and honour my David’s memory.

Good luck. A brilliant thing to do. Hope your pounds go down as the donation pounds go up. Our children ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon for PSPA earlier this year and had such a good time. Derek, I do remember you and David. It is so good of you to still be involved here. It is quite moving. My wife was diagnosed with PSP in the summer of 2017 after 5 years of misdiagnoses. So we were entering newbies to the group and you and David were like the super-informed and helpful silverbacks of the group: Always helping and assisting others in spite of your own tragic circumstances.
