once in a while when I am rested I can speak and sort of walk normally. Does this mean that the PSP diagnosis is wrong?

Hi I would say no; My wife on occasions can speak a little but mostly is non verbal and she has a confirmed diagnosis of PSP. She also can occasionally can eat a little bit without issue but again normally she cannot chew or swallow to the point she is having a PEG soon.

I think it can sometimes be attributed to the state of mind you are in at the time.

That would sometimes happen to my husband. Was like a few days of blessing. I would encourage you to use those days to record videos for your loved ones.
