Dear Tim, I am always in awe of your ability to articulate what you are going through. You clearly speak, and speak so clearly, too, for those who can’t. I don’t know wether you are blessed or otherwise, but I am deeply grateful. I remember when my stalwart guy was hit with the withdrawal of his license. I helped him get it back. He drove and kept his job for another two years. It was a fraught experience in many ways; he couldn’t talk about it. I’m so grateful that you can. It seems you speak for him and all those who can’t.

Thank you Sarah. Ninety minutes of interviewing down to a six + minutes video. Diligent voice exercising, hydration, and a brilliant editor deserve honourable mention.

Thanks Tim. I agree with easterncedar that I too am in awe of you and your ability to reach people and tell it like it is. Thank you.

Tim, For a man diagnosed in 2014 you come across so articulately. (OK - I did just see below actually it was 90 minutes edited down.) Poor Ruth is now becoming really hard to understand and as a double whammy her vision is starting to give her problems.

I love the way the doctor just took away your licence like that! (Well before diagnosis in 2016 Ruth's driving was a bit scary on occasion and she had stopped voluntarily in 2015 - to the relief of the local population!)

Keep spreading the message. You are doing a great job.

That video was recorded on a 'good' day, with plenty of voice exercises and hydration beforehand. A tablespoon of olive oil and plenty of thickened water seems to help me. The usual comments I receive are "I can't hear you." No small wonder I prefer the written word. Hoping and praying for, at the very least, a treatment for Ruth... all of us, to slow the beast down before my expiration date. Until then, I do whatever awareness I can, until I can't.
