CHC
Unfortunately, here in Sheffield, we did not get it, because , to use their words, I was fulfilling all his needs and so they didn’t need to.
The fact that I was in my 70s, constantly passing out with exhaustion and stress and had arthritis and asthma, did not alter their decision.
It was only when my son got involved , and threatened publication of the facts, that they even considered it.
By the time my husband got it, he was in a care home and only had it for about 3 months, before he died.
