Woking Local Group started a Bake Off competition amongst members in 2017 to raise funds for their room hire.

The event was really successful. Family and friends attended as well as members, making it a perfect awareness raising opportunity too. Since then they have been holding it every year, with half of the donations made to PSPA research.

Local Group Coordinator, Betty Peers, said: "This year, we asked everyone to bake and send us photos instead of holding the competition in person, as prizes were already bought. The winners received their prizes when we met "on the 3 August at Wisley." Betty Peers

If you'd like to hold a distanced bake off with you friends and family or Local Group members, email fundraising@pspassociation.org.uk for our new Tea Party Pack.
