I just learned my 'Something New for Today'... very interesting. I guess l can sit back & relax the rest of the day... it's rainy here & we are to stay in for 30 more days... masks are now mandatory in Illinois. Sending hugs... Granni B

The nest looks so visible from the angle you have taken the pic - do hope those crows aren't around this time.

I worry about the crows too. This nest is right out in the open, not tucked away inside a vine. Better for photos but vulnerable to the elements. The one good thing it has going for it is that it seems to be camouflaged well.

It is hard to accept that nature can be cruel, but accept it we must, though I am sure a little intervention is ok - lol.
