Something to ponder...

Sonya Renee Taylor or Brene Brown? It's uncertain who the author is, nevertheless, wise words to consider post Covid-19.

We will never go back to normal. Normal never was.

Our pre-Corona was not normal other than we normalized greed, inequity,

depletion, extraction, disconnection, confusion, rage, hoarding, hate and lack.

We should not long to return to my friends.

We are being given the opportunity to stitch a new garment.

One that fits all of nature and humanity.

What will you do?

Tim

Covid-19 isn’t going anywhere soon. Things are going to change whether the powers that be want it to or not.

Tim,

I wish I could believe that these times of such great change in our lives could lead to lasting habits for the good of humanity; will the world embrace this massive window of opportunity and lock into these changes? Honestly? I doubt it. We've all had a crash course in being kinder to each other; will that continue? Only time will tell.

Love Hils

I agree....I wish I didn't. I have lived thro WW2, thro earthquakes, thro Martin Luther King...each time thinking NOW THINGS WILL CHANGE.

Climate change, Covid-19, both predicted long ago by the scientists (Bill Gates 2015 pandemic speech), falling on deaf ears by the governments; now here we are shutting the door after the horse has bolted. Aarrgghh!

Bill Gates is not a scientist.........and he is a very dangerous man that has close ties to George Soros.

Thanks Inparadise, I am aware that Bill Gates is not a scientist and didn't word my post accordingly. Without getting into this too deeply, a prediction was made that was ignored.

Folks,

Let's please not bring politics into this forum. We are all here for a singular purpose - to help each other deal with the progressive effects of parkinsonisms on ourselves and our families. There's political debates all over the internet. Please practice your political predilections there.

Thank you in advance,

Dick

My post was not at all political.

Of course it wasn't. You just plucked George Soros's name out of thin air.

Please don't do this. Please.

I did not pluck Soros’s name out of thin air. Bill Gates and his father have both had a long well published relationship with Soros.........maybe you should open your eyes to what is really going on?

Dickwin profile image
Dickwin in reply to Inparadise

Is George Soros doing anything to help people with PSP, CBD or MSA? Is George Soros doing anything to hinder people with PSP, MSA or CBD? Does George Soros have PSP, MSA or CBD? Does anyone in George Soros's family, or a dear friend of George Soros have PSP, MSA or CBD?

If the answer to all of the above questions is no, then why, in God's name, are you discussing George Soros, apropos to nothing, on a web site that is dedicated to helping carers for and people with PSP, MSA or CBD? Please just stop.

Sincerely,

Dick

Is the glass half full or half empty? Mine is usually in the middle of almost half full.

Cheers!

LOL - nothing better than sitting on the patio, listening to the birds, no sound of aircraft or traffic, enjoying a lovely glass of wine. Peace in a glass.

With you on that one. It's the only thing to look forward to each day. Although today HAS to be an AF day, or else I shall be a Covid unintended casualty.

Lots of love

I remember being advised by the water company, during a drought, to take a bath together to save water - hope we don't get a drought too soon as gonna be hard to keep 2 metres apart in the shower!

I think if we survive it, it's an opportunity for a fresh start. I hope that others will see it that way too. We definitely need to be kinder to our planet.
