Sadly our lovely Olive passed away on 29 Dec, aged 78 years. We haven't really posted much on this community over the years (but we look every day) but we just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone for everything, for all the advice, support and information readily available at our fingertips when the going got tough. And boy did it get tough.
Olive (Mum/Mother-in-law) was diagnosed with PSP just over 2 years ago, having suffered with symptoms for about 2 years on top of that. I won't go into details about her 'journey' but if anyone ever wants to chat about the different stages and coping then please get in touch. Happy to share experiences (including CHC funding, Nursing Homes in Cardiff, Wales) and would love to help/give something back.
PSP was noted on the death certificate and we chose PSPA as the charity for donations instead of flowers.
We wish you all good luck, best wishes, love and strength whatever your PSP/CBD situation. Our thoughts are with you all.
Clare & Neil xxxx

Sorry to hear. A disease no one wants to get or have a loved one get.
Condolences to you both in the loss of your dear Mum, too soon, and not in the way she deserved. I hope you find peace and goodmemories to sustain you. ❤❤❤
So sorry for your loss, your lovely Olive is now whole again and at peace. PSP no longer has her in its evil grip. Thinking of you both at this sad time.
Sorry for your loss. I know how there are conflicting feelings - of relief she is free and then the reality of continuing without her. Love from Jean x xx

However , I request that it will be very helpful to the readers if you could please share the different stages and the ways you coped with them. Best wishes and regards.
