Diagnosis

My hubby saw the Neurologist for the 1st time on Monday. He is of the opinion he has Parkinsonism and not PSP. He wants him to do a trial of Co-beneldopa (Madopar) for 6 weeks to see what effect that has. Here's hoping it helps. Marcia

It seems trying PD medicines are routine at diagnosis phase. Some people benefit from them and others not so much, here's hoping your husband does!

Good luck with the drug. Hope it works. If not we are here.

I hope the treatment works! 6 weeks seems like a long time to wait but this is how it’s done. Baby steps 🤞
