Light therapy helping Alzheimer's

Initial results from this light therapy study are encouraging with daily treatments seeing Alzheimer patients regaining memory as well as reading and writing skills over a three month period.

The light therapy is said to activate immune cells which fight inactivity and plaque build-up, something that may assist our understanding of Tau build up going forward.

Interesting: you’d think there would be a corresponding relationship between “higher light” countries/climate and lower rates of AD... but I don’t think there is??

Anyway - I’m all for this research - some day we’ll make the breakthrough! 👍☀️
