My dad is trying oxygen therapy , not sure if that is the same thing? He has only had a few sessions, but mum thinks he sits better after the treatment, not so tempted to slouch. They were told he needs 20 sessions to see any real improvement. However, there are no negative effects and anything that may help is worth a try. In the uk, there are centres for this therapy for MS sufferers.

Let us know if it helps!

Interesting.

Please, BandT and bantumi, lets us know the progression of those experiences with oxygen and ozone.

Thank you.

Hi bantumi.

My wife passed away in March after suffering with PSP and CBD for several years. About 4 years ago we went to the MS therapy centre where they have 2 oxygen chambers. Valerie had 5 or 6 sessions there for an hour at a time - I could not see any noticeable improvement in her condition although she said it made her feel very relaxed and comfortable.

Anything that helps a person to be more comfortable is worth trying so have a go and hopefully you will see some benefit.

Best of luck Bryan

Oxygen in our case - not sure about ozone.

As near as I can tell, it's illegal in the US. This is the first I had heard of it. It sounds like they inject ozone intravenously. It sounds scary to me, but then so does PSP. If you decide to try it you should let us know how it works for you or your loved one.

It's an alternative medicine, some very non-invasive treatments

Although ozone is a gas, developments in technology mean it can be used in several forms and different ways, including:

ozonated olive oil applied directly to the body

insufflation, a risky therapy where ozone is blown into the rectum

ozonated water, which is drunk

injections, which are often used in dentistry

autohemotherapy, where blood is withdrawn, mixed with ozone, and put back into the bloodstream

gas bath or sauna

No idea how effective for PSP though!

Why you define as risky the insufflazioni innrectum ? My father start with this type and all medical say me that there s any risk and collateral effect
