I don't post much but thought I'd bring this to everyone's attention. A very small biotech, Cassava Sciences, has a drug they are investigating to treat Alzheimer's. They reported phase 2a data recently. The link to the press release is below. The reason I find this interesting and encouraging was the following bullet within the release:
Significant reductions (p<0.01) in both nitrated and phosphorylated forms of tau protein;
I don't know if this could potentially be used to also treat PSP and CBD one day, but it at the very least is encouraging for the potential of a treatment one day. Just thought I'd share.
