I agree completely. Although sometimes I struggle to read the posts because the heartbreaking stories that bring back so many difficult memories, I know I have supportive friends here. Friends that understand my fears, struggles, and heartaches more than any of my friends around me.
Bobby - agree on the struggle, and sometimes I have jaw dropping moments - like this morning — topic of “picking out poo” has scarred me — the images in my head are racing! I didn’t even know that was a thing!! Okay, so I am being a bit facetious ... but, seriously if you could have seen my face when I read that - dang! the stuff I learn here.
You're a ray of sunshine and inspiration. I have my "bad days" with this awful disease as it takes me a way bit by bit. Your posts bring light not just to other carers, but to those of us afflicted.
