Bon Voyage! Last minute booking on a cruise ... I figure this will be a great distraction, and might as well do it while we can! Mom is all smiles ... yes, it’s work ... but it’s work at home or on a ship I figure! #makingmemories

Thanks Jen!! I’m so excited - 7 days! I have learned that a cruise is the best way to travel with mom - Royal Caribbean is very accommodating.

Have yet to go on a proper cruise on a big boat. Had fun on a little 16 berth last year. Have plans to go to Alaska in 2021!

Kim, this is amazing, well done. Now I am sure they will have a spa on board, book your Mum and you into it ASAP! There will be something for your Mum, even if it's only her nails and you can have an hour (or several!) of being pampered, without any worries.

The good thing about a cruise is that the staff is trained to deal/help with passengers who have disabilities, and they are great in helping out without making the person feeling self conscious about it.......at least that has been my e experience. I hope you both enjoy the adventure, and don’t hesitate to ask a crew member or fellow passenger for help.

Have a brilliant time, assume you are going round the Caribbean. A cruise is the last holiday John and I went on. It was a good choice as if he was tired he could just rest in the cabin. Now that is not possible as we would need to take a lorry load of pads etc xx
