Yeah!! Freedom!

That looks pretty safe. You will have fun with that once you get the hang of it.

Does it come with a crash helmet?

Happy meanderings, and long may they last! Hope the city streets are well engineered to cope with it. My grandson has a manual, and little wheels get caught on badly designed kerbs.

Big hug!

Very nice! Add a beverage holder, custom paint and you'll be the envy as you cruise around town! :)

Very cool! Nothing like having your own wheels once again for independence 😁

But no "rain roof"?? Hope it is a good model for all weather there - or at least 3 seasons ☀️☔️💨

Tell us the farthest you get in it! 👍

Don't go to near the river Patrick until you have full control, I had a job operating Ben's electric wheelchair so slowly slowly would be my advice. Enjoy the freedom as I know you are a free spirit.

Sending all my love

Patrick good luck with your new transport. A bit of freedom for you? However as others have said be careful as we don't want you to end up in a canal or river! Take it easy and learn how to use it before you venture far? Hugs to you. Hoping you are feeling well.

Enjoy your new freedom, there is a guy I have got to know who recently got one of these chairs and there is no stopping him, he just has to make sure he has enough battery power left to get up the hill home.

Have fun. :)

I’ll need something like that in future. Well done for having the confidence to’drive’ it.x

Safe driving Patrick.

My Dad has one of these because of MS, he has been tipped out a few times on dodgy pavements and kerbs.

The other problem he has, is people don't see him, they will just walk out of shop doorways right into him. I was with him recently and a woman almost ended up on his lap because she just walked right in front of him, prompt response required to divert and miss her!

Mum tried one, but the PSP has affected her vision and hand control too much, she just kept crashing into things. Julie

The hand control is the problem, Ivor forgets to take his hand off , and then wonders why it's still going.

Hello, and wheels up for you! Adventures ahead...My husband has had one for about six months and it has expanded opportunities for him. Weekly, he once again joins me at church, where he receives a warm welcome and as far as the North Carolina mountains, about 200 miles away, after the chair is loaded in the conversion van. He, like some others, has problems remembering the nuances of the controls so does not venture out alone. Ditto to the cautions, though, about keeping it on the slow side. We are still learning how to "drive" it safely. It has the computerized capability of 21st century software but drives like a tractor-lawnmower. And backing up in my husband's chair is challenging. Ayyyeeeee! Looking forward to hearing about your good times and new freedoms.

That looks great and not too heavy. And I am glad it has a cup / pint glass holder accessory. Hope you have more freedom.
