I am so sorry to hear that Mick has lost his battle with PSP. May he rest in peace, finally free from this evil disease.
Now it's time to look after yourself. Use your caring skills on you. Be kind to yourself. This part of the PSP journey is just as hard and extremely bumpy. It will one minute at a time for a quite a while yet.
Sending big hug and much love.
Lots of love
Anne
Thanks Ann, indeed it will, as you say one min ar at a time, our grandaughter birthday day before he died and our daughter and her daughter, day after he was cremated, just slotted himself into the middle, terrible ilness, robbed him of everthing. Going for a few days away , with family. Thks xx
Good for you. It won't make you feel any better or any worse, but the love of your family around, always helps. I did exactly the same, went skiing, first time ever. It was lovely learning to breath again in the clear mountain air.
Lots of love
Anne
Thats sounds really good and breath taking and relaxing to clear the mind
So sorry to hear of your loss.
As Anne said, it will be a rocky road finding your feet without having the responsibilities of caring. Your emotions will be up and down, you may feel like doing nothing or doing everything. Just go with the flow. Be kind to yourself. Big hug. Rx

Sorry to hear that, Mary.
It is always a shock even when we feel we should be ready.
Agree with Anne that the grieving stage is as unpredictable as PSP
Give yourself time and remember there are many of us here for you still.

Dear Mary, I am so sorry to hear your news. 💔 I know we are relieved for our loved ones, but it is a devastating loss all the same. Like the others say, just take care of yourself now and be HUGELY patient with yourself. This grief business really takes a while.
We are still here, and if you need us there are lots of us who are living on the other side of the cruel disease now.
Hugs and condolences 🎇🕊❤️

I'm really sad to hear this, I lost my dad to PSP last November. His last few months were so hard on him. You must have been through such a dreadful time, and now it's time to make time for you. Take care of yourself, and live your life the way your husband would have wanted xx
Sending big hugs to you Trillo x
So sorry to hear the news but he is now free of this terrible disease and now is the time to look after yourself. Xx
Sending you my love and deepest sympathy.
Geoff's end is near too and so my empathy for you is heightened/
So sorry to hear your sad news Mary but it is a massive release for him, PSP and the other related diseases are just too awful to endure. Lost my husband almost a year ago to PSP and I knew he had had enough suffering, it's a blessing for them to be free of the atrocities of the disease bit hard for those left behind.
Sending my love

So sorry to hear. My husband also has PSP diagnosed two years ago, but symptomatic for at least 5 now that we know what it is. He is slowly getting worse-so horrible to see him become so dependant.
My sincere condolences to you and your family. My husband also has PSP and we have seen so many changes in the last 3 months. Hugs to you as you find your way on the next part of this journey.
