Pot of tulips

I did this pot for the front steps. It’s been hot. Brought them in as the house is still cool and they will last longer. We also get to see them.

They are lovely Jeff. It has been years since l planted tulips because something always ate the bulbs. Next year if l remember... l will try to make pot like yours. Granni B

Deer love tulips if you have them around you.

Squirrels too - I even have to race them to the apples!

I put chicken wire down on the ground during the winter to keep the squirrels from getting to the bulbs.

It is here. I started to move the house plants outside for the summer.

I saw how to do this fifty years ago on a gardening program and have been doing it for forty plus years.

Beautiful, there's nothing quite like spring flowers.

Jeff,

Still lovely despite the wilting from the heat. Thank you for making me open my eyes to the beauty around me.

Beautiful Jeff

My favourite flowers

I'm always happy to see them appear every spring.

Mine are in jugs throughout the house I always think I will plant them in tubs in the autumn but never get round to it however after seeing your lovely pot I will make the effort 😊

Thanks for sharing

Love Lynda 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

Beautiful. I miss tulips and daffodils. It’s too hot to grow them in Florida.

in reply to Cinnylou

You can plant them you have to refrigerate the bulbs for six weeks I think before planting them to simulate winter. I would look it up online to make sure.

Your tulips are lovely Jeff. I have lots of bulbs in my yard, but no tulips. Think I need to add some. Unfortunately, my bulbs are all through. They bloomed about a month ago. Too early for Easter this year.
