A PSP fundraiser doesn't have to be challenging to start. I realize many caregivers are overwhelmed with their circumstances. Family members such as adult children, grandchildren and friends can all participate. We have a large group and I think the chances are pretty good that some members are connected to some gifted individuals. There's no harm in asking if they might donate a piece of their work towards a silent auction or something similar with the proceeds going to the PSP cause. The Art community can be well connected and often looking for a worthwhile cause to lend their name to. And it's not limited to traditional art... it can be a chef through the culinary arts, an author, a musician - the list is large.

I donated the painting below to the a chapter of the local dementia society as a silent auction item. Perhaps you have something of value you might consider donating towards an auction. Garage sales proceeds would be welcomed I'm sure. There's so much we can do together - 2019 - The Year of For A Cure.

My son is a jazz musician and he raised money by organising an evening event.

That's great. Are there any pictures of the event that can be shared?

Tim you are so right! I must have a look to see if I have anything worth selling. Doubt I have anything of value however! I know this man in Canada who encourages me to eat ice cream all the time! ☺ So no money!!
