At my house we get a Birthday Week when we turn 50! This year when l turned 70... Well, l decided l was old enough to have a Birthday YEAR... I TRY TO CELEBRATE EVERY DAY WITH A HUG... A SMILE... A CUP OF COFFEE

I bet 'Our Party Girl' is enjoying an early start to the party! From old posts l found out that Jill listened to Buddy Holly & the Beatles at her parties.

Don't you think you are a teensy bit early, Kevin? It's only just Thursday and a whole weekend away from Monday 25!

Nonetheless, where there's a will, ...and a bottle of wine, some music and some icecream, we can get on with the party.

Have got out the icecream first, jillannf6 ! It's pretty warm here! We are expecting Cyclone Oma shortly, but the forecasted rain hasn't come - just the intense tropical heat!

Have put on an old Phil Collins dvd where he is playing the drums! Now getting the red wine out! It's a Mission Estate Cab Merlot!

Howdy Jill,

I wanted to make you a dirty, filthy card to celebrate your Birthday Week but l cannot find the picture, dang it! However I will keep looking.

Years ago l went on vacation leaving my boys in charge (17 & 21). Later I received an outrageous waterbill & checked for waterleaks. Then l discovered the problem... l found the dirty filthy photo... of ... a volleyball team of young men covered in mud... & l mean covered! They had ran the hose down the back hill & made a swamp in my old vegetable garden.
