Last minute decision to take my sweet Momma on a memory making cruise. I decided I should do this while she can enjoy everything. Celebrating every day ... that I have with her!

Those are the times when you just have to say “we’re doing it... don’t know how but we’ll manage it somehow. Just go for it, and make those memories however the happen whilst you’re there !

That’s exactly how I have been feeling. There will be challenges, but I will never regret it. Enjoy each day ... she’s loving her audio books, so why not add in some sunshine, Piña colada, and some steel drums. Embracing the journey

Brilliant. That's exactly the attitude we had when Chris was diagnosed. No regrets.

Keep us posted.

She’s so lucky to have you!

When my Mom was diagnosed I asked her which broadway shows she wanted to see again, and I’m so glad we spent that first year doing fun things. We cannot predict how fast things will change and having your priorities right will no doubt serve you both well! Enjoy.

Exactly - I have read so much on this site, and I struggle with what to expect. Yesterday when we boarded the ship, the look on her face was priceless; one I shall never forget! This will be a week to remember.

Wow! that is exactly what my 2 girls and I have made plans to do. My desire is to make all the memories I can with them while I am still able to do it. As you said who knows what tomorrow will bring. We are going on a 7 day river cruise in March 2019.
