Very interesting. My husband showed some but not all signs but I think the most important section of this piece was the last paragraph in bold print pointing out that right until the very end, our loved ones can probably hear us.
Thanks for posting.

I've been looking for information on this off and on for a while. Poor success.
Another great post.
Thank you

Hi there, Many thanks for a very informative piece. I wish I had known earlier. Like Kevin searched, asked re knowing when the time would come, all to no avail. As it states everyone is different. Leon had some of the symptoms, not all, but am comforted in knowing that he may have heard me right up to the end. I talked to him daily for the 10 days it took after stopping P.E.G. feeds and fluids. He only responded once by putting his hand up when his daughter rung the night before he passed, whom he hadn't spoken to in 3 years. It was confronting at the time, but also comforting that I think he knew she had made the effort to talk to him. Thank you again Hugs Marg H
Thanks Daffodil. Very good info. I will keep this link.
