Trouble accessing

Hi all,

I am having much difficulty logging in to read posts. When I try to "read more" a screen comes up requesting me to log in using Facebook or google. This has been happening most of the time. Does anyone know what the problem is? I hope to be able to read your answers.

Hope you are all well. Thanks so much.

Liz

Hi, I lived in Los Angeles, Calif, USA. I too have experienced, within the last month or so, that each time I start to read a post I am requested to log in....mine gives me one more choice, my regular email address and password. I do not do FACEBOOK nor do I have a GOOGLE address so I enter my email account and password. It is annoying, but I figure it must be done.

Same here in NZ. Maybe there is a tighten up on security.

I use my 'moniker' = honjen43 and my password and I am in. I do have a google account and a Facebook but don't use either for here. Have also recently signed in on a new tablet.

I could not remember my password (goodness knows why as it was a sensible one!) so I asked for a reset through email and then accessed HU and reset them on all my hardware. Since then have been asked to sign in on a couple of occasions and had no trouble.

Hope this helps.

Hugs

Hi

I'm with the others.

Firefox and Chrome, my preferred browsers have brought an update in which has withdrawn the auto login feature.

So we have to log in manually. Autofill still works though.

There are two reasons for this.

First the new privacy regulations

Second it can confer a vulnerability to scripts (malware) which can use it to access your accounts.

It's a pain!

I hope you are doing Okay. :)

Best to you

Kevin

Thanks Kevin. I always access through my android. Never tried through my Mac.

I'm doing ok. Just figured out today that the reason I abort my emotions is that by allowing myself to feel, I am acknowledging that he is really gone. Guess I'm still living in denial.

I hope you and Liz are doing well. Haven't been able to read many posts lately so am very much behind on situations.

Hugs, Liz

Hi Liz

It takes time.

The numbness you describe is normal. It will pass when you are ready.

Wishing you the best

Yes, it is annoying to have log in all the time. Other sites that I know,

( either health or finance group) we don't have to log in for just reading but need to log in for posting.

Thanks to everyone for responding. I will try resetting my password. So spoiled not having to sign in up until now.

Hugs,

Liz
