Has anyone ever heard of Nano technology for relieving pain?

Pain in CBD
Hi Binababoo...Will you tell us more about the situation? I have a husband with CBD but no pain (yet) related to it. How many years are you in? Where is the pain? - an alien limb?
But to answer your question, no - I haven't heard of nano tech for pain.
Anne G.
Dear Anne
I am going through a severe pain in my shoulder and a that has been affected by CBD
It took almost three years for my doctor to finally diagnose CBD
Since last summer I have been crying due to the pain in my right arm and shoulder and I have been taking high doses of pain killers
I hope I made it clear

Hi Binababoo
Wow, you really are at the leading edge on this one!
I'd not heard of it before.
This is based on reading only.
Nano tech pain relief is a method of delivering pain reducing drugs to the site of the pain in tiny quantities. The doses then become low as there is no need to 'flood' the body with the drug in order to get the required amount to the site where it's needed. Early research shows it to be more effective than the usual medication delivery methods.

I think this might still be at the research stage and not yet available. At least I can't find any products.
Then there is this which seems to work in a wholly different way .
And
paintreatmentdirectory.com/...
I notice that whereas they go to the trouble of explaining how nerve cells work they don't explain how their product works on them. A little sleight of hand marketing for the not so careful reader?
If their product were to cross the skin barrier I expect they would need to have a full license after lengthy and expensive testing. I doubt they have this so I doubt it does.
It might work, but it is not the nanotech which is getting the medical scientists excited.
Adding the Med Science nanotech is looking at severe and severe chronic pain in their research and nccap is focussing on a lower order of pain.
Hope this helps a little
Best

Hi,
Could the pain be down to dystonia? Ruth found the pain in her right foot was removed by a course of Botox injections. (Foot remains turned inwards so walking is difficult without aids, but at least it is not hurting).
Richard
Yes. Ruth had pain in her right foot every time she put weight on it from October 16 to March 17. When she had her first Botox injection in the foot in March 17 (and then follow-up injections every 3 months or so) she has had virtually no pain at all. So in her case it has been really effective.
It may well be the pain in your shoulder could be stopped if a muscle can be turned off by the Botox.
