This is my Dad ASLAM diagnosed sadly with PSP.

Very reassuring lots of us going through this together x love and peace I send to you all and one day let's all fight for a miracle of hopefully towards a cure for PSP xxxx

I am from Pakistan - my dad started having symptoms of dementia some 15 years ago - he started having symptoms of PSP, no downward gaze and falling backwards, towards the end of 2013 - in July 2015 he was bed bound, and I returned back to Pakistan, from Poland, where I took care of him till Mar 2016, when he passed away

I found this wonderful forum and a couple of others on facebook, where I got excellent advice (and a place to rant) and it gave me a lot of useful tips from caregivers, since most doctors, even neurologists and nurses are unaware of the special issues and care related to taking care of dementia patients

Thank you my Dad was an amazing dad the best happy memories.

I'm really humbled to be in touch with a group of all us folk going through psp.

We're not alone and will fight this utter despair of a condition.

I'm fragile very fragile and need to stay strong on this journey. We all do xxx May I ask how everything has affected you and thank you for your reply xx

I feel for you and your husband so very much .

I'm glad I've found this website it's comforting.

I am very strict and believe so so strong from my heart and soul as difficult what life may throw at us and it's of real true test of real soul mate love if your a lucky one :

FOR RICHER FOR POORER

IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH

And if your lucky like me think that if we had this truly devastating illess they would love and look after us and do all they could do x

I have a crippling condition to me to manage and it super affects me and my husband especially but we love each other loads he's really looked after me as a husband and some how or other our love remains and stays strong and we pull always pull through very tough times as we are now it's not easy you feel like giving up sometimes .

I'm blessed to have my husband and our two beautiful girls and blessed to of had an amazing such special dad and so special and his family continue wow his beautiful granddaughters I gave birth to and they all love each other to bits and pieces.

I have to hold on to these words and thoughts xxxxx

Miriam what a lovely photo of you both. You obviously love your Dad very much. It is a horrible condition that your Dad has. Nothing much we can do apart from being there. In your case that is not easy.

I hope you are well soon. When you are please be careful driving!! Take it easy?
