Struggling a bit, although Chris is not as far along as George. He is at least sleeping through the night now. I get a wet bed in the morning because he takes his convene off. That irritates me but I know the worst thing is the broken nights.

This site makes me aware of how much worse it will get !!

Isn't that a glorious sight! I love the snowdrops that appear here so quickly after the snow melts away, although we have nothing like that sort of display. Still, they seem miraculous, gathered in little shy groups, suddenly up and blooming as if conjured by a magician. Mind you, we are weeks from that. We have feet of snow everywhere, six-foot drifts in places. Even so, the red maple twigs and osier dogwoods are beginning to deepen in color, very obvious against the white background, so spring is thinking of coming here, too! Thanks for the foretaste, George!

That's lovely George. Not long now and it will all be primroses. Can V see them or is it too difficult now?

Georgepa in reply to vlh4444

Primroses and daffodils already out-not full on yet but certainly showing .You are right V finds it difficult to really focus on anything even if I hold and direct her head .So I just tell her about them but she doesn't really respond .I have deep-seated feeling that this will probably be our last spring so I will try and make the most of it for her ..

You are right to make the most of every detail and experience and V could not have anyone better to describe things for her.

Wild snowdrops, such a joy along with the bluebells later on. Our English hedgerows are a delight are you they GP at least that's something to smile about as I lay in Ben's bed, he's in his chair, am suffering 4th day of attack from novovirus, feel shocking but still have to do the essentials. Good job Ben likes tinned soup. xx

OMG Kate! How are you coping? That's got to be the worse thing. At least with the flu or something, you can get up and doing the caring bit. I still have scars from when I had a similar attack, looking after a brand new baby, 40 something years ago!!!

Hope you feel better soon.

Lots of love
