Pill Grinder

I'm sure many of you must use this kind of contraption, I've just found out so thought I'd share it. We've been crushing my mum's pills and only recently found out that you can grind them to a powder form, this has made it so much easier for my mum.

I wish I knew about it earlier, we've been crushing the old fashioned way. I didn't purchase this one, so make sure you read the reviews. Glad to have been some help, anything to make life a little easier.

OOh that looks much easier than my mortar and pestle! The nurses gave me a plastic pill grinder that just floated on top of pills. My motherinlaw gave me the porcelain mortar and pestle, and I have found it to be invaluable. but again yours looks very efficient and clean.....

May I add that if you are crushing coated pills , to go ahead and dissolve them in water after you crush them. This allows the coating to dissolve and not clog the PEG tube! And infact I dissolve all the drugs before pouring in the tube, gives a more even, steady flo of meds that don't clog the system!

Good luck

Thanks for the advice, we're not at Peg stage yet, but we know it's round the corner. We've been using a pestel and mortar too, but this just makes it a lot easier.

Never knew there was such a thing! Thank you so much. My husband is struggling to swallow some pills but one of these would be great.

I really am in the dark about so many things I now realise. Nobody has really given us advice apart from at the beginning. Now nobody seems to care about either of us.

Thank you again.
