I wonder if they have been working on the program. I see the messages format has changed...and not for the better in my mind. Grrr.
Been busy with Don. Just officially put our house on the market to try to get a 3 bedroom. I still want to get someone too live with us so that they can help me with him. He was eval by his PT today today who feels he is getting stronger. Very confusing. Then after dinner he fell leaning over. Fortunately just a bad scrape on his arm. Called him into the kitchen to take his meds, my back was turned and there he was half way there without his walker. I told him not to move and ran to get it. Have him on coconut oil again which I really feel helps smewhat with that. Good days and bad. What can I say. Hope things are ok with you.
Lots of hugs and love,
Audrey
Audrey much the same sleepless nights, feeling exhausted, urine infections, wanting to go to the loo 20 times a day, as soon as you sit down he wants something, but what's new. Hope you get your house sold as quick as possible, and find a new one that suits you better, sending you a massive hug. Xxxxx
The last while has really been hard work.A case of battle of wills. Well I have been trying to keep everything together the normal duties you know what I mean. Well what I have been neglecting is B's garden. That has really been a pain in fact. B really enjoys her garden and was getting rather emotional because of the state of her garden. I said "Well I just have not had the time". Well that was like a red rag to a bull. Her response a classic If I could do it myself...
Well to be honest that was the last straw. I exploded inside. It was really hard to keep my cool. I put into practice what my friend suggested. It was very difficult to even talk. I suggested we go into the garden she stays in her wheelchair and just keeps me company. She agreed and put a twinkle back. The sitting still did not last long she started lifting weeds using the hoe. I tried to get her to stop and take it easy but she insisted all is well so I let her be. Lunch time had lunch outside which we had not done for a very long time..... Dinner was good.
The next day B could not wake up. It was well past 11am. When I did eventually get up she was in agony. Mobility even more difficult. Now I am really stressing. I have got far too much to do.....
We sat in the garden and chatted for at least 2hours.She spoke her heart out.Sharing things that happened 50years ago. The details all described as this happened yesterday. This really made sad thinking she is starting to digress thinking the worst. Not even going to say the name.
But what got me thinking is this part of the PSP ,or am I reading too much in to a nice afternoon chat. We have celebrated our 31wedding anniversary. What she shared was something that she experienced as a child....
Your thoughts on this will be appreciated.
Hi, it's really difficult to say. PSP can and does lead to dementure in some, but not everyone. We all blame this evil disease for all symptoms, which might be a bit unfair at times.
Not knowing what your wife was sharing with you, but she could just of been in the mood for chatting, which bought that particular memory back, the fact she could remember it so clearly, only shows how she felt about it. Again, not necessarily a sign of what you are worried about! I would log it somewhere in the brain filing cabinet and then forget all about your concerns. Hope you enjoy many more long heart to heart chats in the garden.
Lots of love

Kevin has just discovered that many, not all, Health Unlocked posts were going to the Spam Folder on my P.C..
They never used to.
I knew a few people who i use to know they had dementia, it was terrible seeing them like it and not their normal selves as dementia takes over sadly they both died separately on separate dates but its terrible to see them like it and feel hopeless as you can only help to a certain extent, but poor ole Sue and Val are no longer here - their Husbands try to keep going each day but saying that one Husband is coping better than the other.
