Sister's infections not under control

My sister has been in and out of the hospital for many years. Started with Asthma. Then one day they came back from Utah and sister thought she had been bitten by something. Leg got redish purplish color almost like it had been burned. She went to the doctor and they put her on a regiment of antibiotics with a pick that went to her heart at home. Every since then about 10 years ago, she has been in and out of the hospital due to infections that they can not locate the origin. I am afraid that she is going to die because they can not pin point it. They always send her home with a crap load of antibiotics after her week or two stay in the hospital to insert through her pick but always back in the hospital within the month. I have lost a father and brother to cancer and mother and other sister beat cancer. I am so afraid that I am going to lose her too. I am very angry about this. Can anyone help me to help her??? Please...Maybe something from home that can remove virtually any infection???

This PSP support group doesn't necessarily deal with this, however your sisters allergist/immunologist may be able to help. If she has only seen a general practitioner, it's time to get specific and let dr's who focus on this type of care take a look at your sister.
