Oh baby it's too early to get depressed. I do remember the feelings you are having....I don't have many friends who can come over to help. I don't want to bother my kids. So it's just B and me. But I do remember (when I can remember) that there were good times and even I can scrape up enough joy in my day to make today a 'good time'. I cannot base all my good memories made to day on how I used to get them. I had kids, a job a husband....now I have really none of those at my immediate disposal. But as boring as it might be, I am so thankful to be home with my husband.

When the kids were preschoolers, I stayed home with them. Then I started working at their school and subbing around the other districts. I took a permanent teaching job at my kids school which lasted 15 years...Not very long in comparison to the 28 year stint most teachers do. But there were two factors that made it a very long special ed. job......1. Many sped teachers last only 7 years. Special Ed has many other factors besides teaching. And people get burnt out . teachers base THEIR students success to regular students....and well they don't often meet it. My happiest moment is when I can 'graduate' a student from the program to just regular classes.

2. And my fellow teachers did not like me. I did not fit in with the clique; and as cliques have it , they easily convinced others that I was not worth their time. SOOOOO remembering the good times. Baby , I am more happy now taking care of my husband than I ever was being a teacher.....Oh and it really was not the kids' that drove me crazy....I love teaching....and if I get a chance I want to be a teachers aid...I also realized in those 15 years, that just cuz you have that title does not mean you get to do it....You did paper work and assessments...and told the aids what to do with the kids...It's less money , but I can go home at 4pm! My word for you today is:

HOBBY

Get you something that can help you make memories today!!!!

What's my hobby, I like working out at the gym....Though I don't looke like I work out at the gym. I love reading the encyclopedia or factual books. I mean I hate reading but if it is something that I like it is something encyclopedic! And I like talking to you.

I hope you have a better day,

I feel like I'm standing in the middle of a frozen lake and the ice has started to crack at my feet, spreading streaks across the expanse of the lake as far as I can see. The cracks are trying to fragment my memories as they touch them but they can't because I won't let them.

I have no problem remembering the good times. They may be different good times now but they are still good times.

When i transfer Brian and he says that whent well. Or he says i love you babe. And if we go out or he laughs at something they are all good times.

The good times of days gone by must be talked about to be remembered. Try to think of something that you have done and ask him do you remember when we did this or that or get a photo album out look at the pictures and go back in time with the vision in front of you. Janexx
