Inevitable but still devastating....

My dear wife, Marguerite, of 50 years, passed away peacefully and comfortably at home after over 6 years suffering with this horrific PSP disease. She was surrounded by her loving family during the last days.

Although grieving started from the time of my wife's diagnosis in 2011, my family and I are devastated and need time to deal with further grieving. I will return to this site at later date.

Take care everyone.

Tony

Sorry about your sad news, PSP makes the grieving process a long one as seems to start from the day of diagnosis and continue after the loss of the person you loved. How cruel. My thoughts are with you.

Thinking of you at this sad time. We have been married for 53 years and its impossible to anticipate losing each other. The loss starts long before when P/S.P. started but its still the final one.

Love, Jean

Dear Tony --

My deepest sympathy on the passing of your beloved Marguerite. I'll pray for you.

(I found some understanding in the writings of C.S. Lewis; at least I no longer felt completely at sea in my grief.)

God bless you,

Carla
