I forgot to warn my neighbours so soon had a knock on the door to see what was the matter. As I was explaining what it was we had to laugh my phone started to ring and we noticed the police helicopter going over. Oh well next time I will put a notice up. Still have not found out why the police helicopter was over the village. Janexx

Oh well, least you were noticed, which is what it was all about! I lots of screaming, although for a different reason, down the pub, in South Africa, watching them beat England at rugby!!!

So good someone would come to your rescue if you were in trouble. If you have a local paper it will probably have a story about people reporting a woman scream, so a helicopter was used to search for possible attacker and victim. Have you made the news?

Wonderful Jane. I thought you were writing a parody at first when I read about the helicopter.......then realised it really happened. You couldn't make this stuff up eh.

From what I've heard the helicopter was looking for a couple of youths who had done a joy ride in a stolen car not for a strange screaming woman. Janexx
