My husband breathed his last in sleep on 21st august He was diagnosed PSP in 2010 He suffered a lot he was very alert mentally till the end

he suffered more bcos he was unable to swallow'see 'walk etc eyes were centre fixed for nearly 2 months it was very pathetic he was my lovely companion for 37 years and a very good father to my children he was very honest straight forward intelligent and an well educated noble soul I miss him and this cannot be replaced he was loved by each and everyone

I wish to do some good work for people with PSp

Sorry about the loss of your husband. He went peacefully in his sleep and is now at rest. You have taken good care of him, take care of yourselve now. We are thinking of you and your family.

Dear Lalitha so sorry for your loss though it's been two years I am sure it's no less painful now. Padma hope your husband is doing well.

My father too has been diagnosed with this awful disease. Were the hospitals your respective husbands frequent PSP literate? I find it's not the case with so many hospitals and Doctors in India. Perhaps an awareness drive will help to educate so many who would be clueless as I speak. My parents live in Kerala
