Touting for business. I recently asked for some advice re shower ramps and got some replies but I also got a blog from a company with

Their details and website telling me they could help.

This is not what this site is for and I object to this. If my fellow bloggers want to give me this information I would find that acceptable. There are too many people out there who want to offer their services, I can check them out myself. Am I over reacting?

No Dorothy, you are not over-reacting! However, it may not be that they are touting for business specifically. Websites set up "cookies" which pick up on key words and then tailor advertising to those key words so it might be worth reviewing your security/privacy settings.
