Viagra vs Sildenafill

My doctor prescibed 50mg viagra, but Kaiser is probably going to charge a lot. Any suggestions?

You should get a GoodRx coupon. They should send you one or you can go on the GoodRx website and get it yourself--you'll be able to see what chain pharmacy will give the best deal, and it will be a lot less. Just make sure the prescription is for a mass quantity, not the amount that only insurance will cover (which is a few pills a month). You should be able to get six month quantity for less than $200 or even $150, depending on the chain you go have near you.

There are at least two legitimate mail-order pharmacies in the US offering close to cost-plus pricing for the PDE5 drugs. Your doctor will need to send the Rx to them electronically. Then you must create and account giving them your address and billing info. Because they do not work through your insurance you will not be limited to 6 pills per month, your doctor will have to write the Rx for the number of pills, the number of refills, and the dosage. (They are the only way for those of us who are treating medical conditions other than sexual performance enhancement to get the drugs we need.) You should find prices in the <$1 to <$2 per pill range.

The two I have used are CostPlusDrugs.com and HealthWarehous.com, there may be othes.

hi I found daily 5mg of cialis was great. Every morning with prep. I was always ready. It, for me, was more forgiving of a glass of wine. Viagra isn’t the same. It’s an event drug. You take it a bit in advance and it lasts a few hours. Any alcohol and it was a total loser. You can’t take it with fatty foods. When I started cialis was $us130 a month and no insurance in Australia for that or viagra. Now. Cialis is off patent and sells for $us20 a month. Happy days!

$10.50 for 5 generic tablets at gogomeds.com. Generic Tadalifil 5mg is $7.99 for 10 tablets. I was told by my care team that insurers will not cover ED meds, but you still need to have your doctor send them a prescription. Haven't tried Sildenafil, but Tadalifil made my erections painful. Even the low dose.

I have also gotten great prices on both Viagra and Cialis with the GoodRX card, as my lovely insurance will not cover any of it. My experience with Cialis (Tadalafil) 40mgs is more predictable, consistent, and satisfying than Viagra. Get 'scripts for both so you can experiment, compare, and find out what works best for you. The Cialis requires more lead time to work fully, usually a couple hours for me, so some advance planning is needed to get ramped up. It also plays well with weed, just sayin'.

SingleCare app is usually good to find local drugstore prices. Also, try Costco—which may be worth a membership for their price. Certainly generics can be a way for a lower price, and there’s also Canadian online resources.

On another note , my dr prescribed cialis (tadafil) which is gentler. That said, you may want to test which you get better results with.

Keep in mind that Costco does *not* require a membership to use their pharmacy. Members do get slightly lower prices. You can ask about the difference. Just tell the greeter at the front door, looking for a membership card, that you're going to the pharmacy. Or enter through the exit, which is what you would do to buy a membership anyway. Or have a Costco member friend buy you a gift card, that gets you into the store, and may get you the member price.

Go to GoodRX dot com and print out the prescription discount card for Sildenafil and then have the prescription sent to a non-Kaiser pharmacy. You'll pay about $15.
