Late-onset ED from radiation

Having escaped the sexual gauntlet called ADT reasonably intact (courtesy of the Loop) now I feel a rising anxiety, being 12 months out from RT, that I will be among the 50-60% of formally potent men tendered impotent within 2 yrs.

I realize that there is nothing I can now do (or is there, other than keeping things going post-ADT?) to alter what will be.

I would appreciate input from men who had RT, but didn't receive ADT, or had only a few months, and wound up developing ED.

How severe is post-RT ED, if I'm one of the lucky bunch who gets it?

I think your numbers are high. It's probably more like 20-40% with today's therapies, and is highly dependent on age and erectile function at baseline.

I took 20 mg/day Viagra for 6 months after SBRT. I've had no ED at all.

Your "rising anxiety" can be a cause of ED.

Yes it can. Good point. I'll relax and breathe, and be glad for where I'm at. Thx for reassuring words, TA.
