I joined the local MCC church in Orlando and found (after talking to the ministers) I met 2 others members with PCa. They had a few friends and we had 5 of us. We all know each other, but the entire congregation does not know unless we tell them. I stopped going to church for about 3 years, then went back. I was very well received and they prayed for me with their prayer team. I then started feeling and doing better. On this past Christmas Eve my doctor called an told me, "The tests show you no longer have any signs of cancer in your body". It has been 11 years. I am 73 years old now and have 3 other serious diseases, diabetes, heart disease and kidney failure. I still go to church and they are still praying for me, and I enjoy the extra support. Our group has moved apart. Next month I am moving into a rest home, and I wish you well and remember to just keep truckin'.
