Thanks for sharing this article. There need to be more such articles. I've found that mentioning prostate cancer is a huge conversation stopper. Even at a dinner party in a discussion started by a breast cancer survivor, I expressed empathy and mentioned my prostate cancer. Dead silence ensued. It seemed an empathetic and supportive remark but was just a terribly awkward moment. Breast cancer seems cause célèbre yet prostate cancer a behind the hand whisper.
